Good evening my lovelies!
I hope you have all had a pleasant weekend and made the most of the fact its International Hermit and Stitch Weekend!
Mine has been pretty good! On Friday evening I made a start on my small for the Small SAL hosted by Stitching Lotus, and then on Saturday I finished it!
Your expecting a picture now, right? Well sorry, your just going to have to wait until the 29th for the check in post - I don't want to ruin the surprise now do I?!
Today I pulled out one of my big WIPs, I'd been looking forward to getting stuck back in again after the Crazy January Challenge!
I decided upon Mini the Black, this is what it looked like the last time you saw it (almost a year ago!)...
And today, after stitching yet even more 310, almost 1600 stitches later here it is now!
Thrilling pictures huh? ;)
Well that's all for today I think, just a quick note to say hello to my new followers! As well as thank you for all the comments from followers new and old, they really spur me on sometimes :)
Emma xo
Wonderful progress Emma.

Thank you Linda x
DeleteProgress on a HAED is a big accomplishment no matter how many stitches. Glad to know you had a productive weekend. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I don't think I could stand stitching all that black. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI think the only thing worse than endless black stitching is endless white stitching on white fabric!
DeleteGreat progress, 1600 stitches is a lot. Looking forward to seeing more of this piece as it is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I only got so many because it was mindless stitching while I watched some tv :)
DeleteGreat progress. Love that pattern:)
ReplyDeleteYou have been very busy with Crazy January Challenge I really like all the free kits You have started-well done. The HAED has get many more little x-stitches too !

ReplyDeleteGreat progress, it's hard to stitch in black, hugs .
ReplyDeleteLovely progress Emma.
ReplyDeleteNo fair to tease us haha. Congrats on the secret finish anyway.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your black HAED haha. That much black you don't have to stitch next time you work on it.
That is very true! In a way it is nice, no thinking, just stitch stitch away.
DeleteI think your doing a great job! Keep it up...I know it seems endless now but in the end it is all worth it!
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope so! :) I'm planning on sticking with this project for this week at least.
DeleteAt least block stitching is not as annoying as confetti stitching! Your piece reminds me of a tall skinny Pacman! Great progress! Where did you get the cool gadget to keep track of your Stitch from Stash spending?
ReplyDeleteThat is very true, I will miss this block stitching when I get to the hard bit!
DeleteI used http://www.critiquecircle.com/wordmeterbuilder.asp its supposed to be for writers but it works well for me :)
You've done lots, well done Emma
ReplyDeleteI'll be sure to return for the finish, congrats.
ReplyDeleteYou could be waiting a while Minnie! :D

ReplyDeleteThanks Mii! :)
DeleteTo a fellow HAED stitcher, those pictures are thrilling! Great progress, I too have been considering diving back into a HAED from last year and your post has inspired me to revisit the idea with more determination!
ReplyDeleteIts actually been really nice to dig this out and crack on with it, I plan on sticking with it the rest of this week at least!
DeleteGreat progress on Mini The Black. All us HAED stitchers know how great that looks.
ReplyDeleteI love that one, it looks exactly like my mini horse in expression :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is a good HAED to start with, not too many colours :)
DeleteCan't wait to see more of this one, I have it in my wish list too.
ReplyDeleteWell done on putting so many stitches in this piece, can't wait to see more of it!
ReplyDeleteWell, I think black is VERY flattering. ;) Great job on all those 310 stitches!
