Warcraft!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all well. Perhaps I was a little optimistic in my last post when i said I would have plenty of stitching progress for you this week. Of course at the time of writing I forgot one very important factor about the week ahead.

That was the release of this...

Of course, I know some of you will never have even heard of this game and wonder what the heck I am on about. This is World of Warcraft, one of the biggest, if not THE biggest game out there for PC.

Anyway, new content meant I just HAD to start playing again, I know a few of you also play too, how are you all getting on?

I'm happy to say after all the lag issues and server queues of over 2000 people waiting to get on (up to three hours on mine!) I got to level 100 on Sunday! Hooray!

Yep, that is me in game haha. I just love gnomes.

I can't promise there will be much more stitching to report this week either, I am just loving WoW again at the moment.

While I am here though I will do some enabling for my stitching friends, Bev at Love Thy Thread has decided from December 1st the company shall be no more due to health issues. Its very sad as she has some beautiful charts but I just don't have the money available to buy any more that I would like. But perhaps you are more fortunate and you can all grab those last few charts before they disappear!

Until next time!

#34 Computer Games are Evil

My Goodness, despite having the week off yesterday was the first day I picked up the needle and thread for the first time in over a week! It's all to blame on the new World of Warcraft expansion, but hooray I have levelled up to 90 now (the new max level) so (maybe) my stitching will get some more attention.

But!

I do have a finish to show you - the break seems to have turned me in to a speed demon with the needle.

The thread and pattern for this came to me as part of a giveaway from the lovely Minnie over at http://minnie-allxxs.blogspot.co.uk/ and I must admit I think he has turn out great, the pattern is by Twisted Threads and having looked online they seem to have more patterns I would like, I just need to find one which ships over to the UK.

So now he is done I need to work out what to do with him. Originally I was going to turn him in to a decoration for the tree but I'm not sure if he might be a bit on the large size. Any suggestions?

Sticking with the Christmas theme I simply must show what arrived in the mail for me last week, my very talented friend from school who is also in to craft but more the beading/clay side of things made some personalised decorations, when I saw them I asked if she could add cats to them (they are as much part of the family to me) and sure enough here is the result!

I love it - now I just have to wait for Christmas now :(

If you have made it this far well done - thank you again for the kind comments and the new followers, and as I have hit over the 50 mark now I may hold a small giveaway. I'll have a think about what to do then let you know at the weekend (as long as WoW doesn't distract me too much).
