Greetings!
I hope you are all (almost) ready for the big day if you celebrate!
I finally got round to buying a frame for my Holly and Hearts sampler yesterday and this morning I hung it up so I thought I would share a photo with you :)
Just a simple cheap frame from Wilko but it does the job and has made my hallway look much more festive :)

A portfolio of my crafts, after 15 years doing very little I have started again and here is an on-line collection of my work. Enjoy.

I'm back...With a Finish Too!
Hello!
Greetings from Scotland!
You will all be pleased to know the move went very smoothly and we arrived here safe and sound over a week ago.
As we are staying with the inlaws for a few weeks we only have one computer set up, so we are sharing. So when I do get on to the computer I am usually using that time to apply for jobs etc.
No luck on that front yet but I will just keep on applying and fingers crossed something will come up eventually.
However, the good news is thanks to the lack of computer and gaming I have got another finish to share! Yippee!
This is the Lizzie*Kate Holly and Hearts Mystery SAL from last year. You may remember I got the first two parts done on time or there abouts but by the time part three arrived...well...it went away and Christmas came and went before it was finished.
But, at least it is now ready for this year! :D
All I need to do now is to try and find a frame, its a strange shape so I'm not sure how easy that is going to be.
I will be back soon with another post, I went on a little trip yesterday with the MIL and returned with some stash, meaning I had a new start today... :D
Until next time...

Holly and Hearts Part Two - Finished!
Good evening everyone!
I hope you are all ok and enjoying your weekend. My number of followers has jumped up recently thanks to the blog hop earlier in the week, so hello and welcome to you! I hope you enjoy your stay! Hehe.
Getting ever closer to the 200 mark, no doubt I will have a giveaway once I get there.
So, this evening I finished the second part on the Lizzie*Kate mystery sal. Hooray! I really enjoy working on this piece and I cannot wait until part three arrives and I can complete it. Fingers crossed it will be in time for December so I can get it framed and it can sit pride of place!

Until then it goes away again, I'm not sure what I will work on in the mean time...I'll let you know as soon as I do!
Until next time...

Back to the Long, Dark Nights...
...which can only mean one thing, staying in and stitching away! Hehe!
I hope you all had a good weekend? Mine wasn't the most productive every but hey ho sometimes you need a lazy day :)
Last night the clocks went back - we are officially on our way to Winter! Which also means Christmas and my Birthday - Yippee! :D
Today I worked some more on the Lizzie*Kate mystery sal Holly and Hearts, not too much done but a start none the less on part two, I need to crack on with it now as part three will be here in no time and I really want to get this done for Christmas.
I will be changing the spelling of honor to honour (which to me is the correct spelling) if you are wanting to change it too they have kindly added an alteration to the Lizzie*Kate site which you can find here.
Other than that this week has been made up of more stash building.
First my new needle minder arrived from Lisa's No More Lost Needles.
It holds the needle really well and I have already placed a request in for another minder for next month, I suggest you take a look as she has loads of different designs, and very reasonably priced too!
Next, my parcel from Colour Cascade Fabrics arrived all the way from Oz. This was part of a Facebook event and my partner very kindly sent me a voucher, which I happily spent and then some!
The fabrics are Indian Sunset and Wicked Garden, they are gorgeous! If you are reading this my secret birthday Santa thanks very much! :D
Lastly, this was from last months event for Across Town Stitching, which sadly is closing down soon, its a shame as she used to do great deals on thread. Again I was sent a voucher from my partner and I picked these two kits.
I think that is everything for stitching updates...but I have more exciting news! Yesterday me and the other half booked our flights to Rome for next year! :D I am SO excited already! So, does anyone have any recommendations of crafty shops or magazines I should pick up while I am there?
I will be back on Thursday for the Halloween Blog Hop taking place over at Serendipitous Stitching - I have a spoooooky finish to share!
Until then stay safe!

Holly & Hearts Part One - Finished!
Good evening everyone
I hope you are all ok, I would just like to say first thank you for all your supportive messages on my last post. It has been a busy week so I haven't had the opportunity to thank each comment personally but they are appreciated.
We made the journey to Scotland Thursday night and the funeral was on Friday, there were lots of tears at the service but afterwards the family stayed together and shared stories from their childhood about her and her siblings, lots of laughs which is what she would have wanted. We made the journey back yesterday and arrived home in the evening, both very tired.
Today was the first chance I had to stitch but luckily I managed to finish part one of the SAL. Hooray!
So now it will go away until part two arrives, which means I can work on something else in the mean time, at the moment I'm not sure what that will be, but I'm sure I will be back soon with another update for you!
Tiki and Linda I will get your prizes in the mail this week, Pull the other Thread I don't have your address yet, so if you get it emailed to me then I will pop yours in the post as well.
Hope you all have a great week ahead

IHSW Roundup and Knitting Book Winners!
Good evening everyone!
I hope you all had a pleasant weekend and everyone taking part in IHSW had a productive weekend.
I was very organised this time I even remembered to take photos before the weekend started, I worked on the new Lizzie*Kate Mystery Sampler Holly and Hearts.
I literally did nothing this weekend other than stitch and have a Breaking Bad marathon (Just finished season four - oh my god!)
So lets get straight to it with the pictures...
Hopefully I will have part one of the Mystery Sampler done in the next day or so, this has been such a joy to stitch and I am already looking forward to part two arriving in the mail next month :)
You may remember a couple of posts ago I offered these three pattern books to anyone who would want them as I already had one myself.
As luck would have it I have three books and three people asked for one! So Linda, Pull The Other Thread and Tiki please email me (itzycraftcorner@hotmail.co.uk) with your address and I will get them in the post to you asap.
We had some sad news on Saturday, David's Grandma passed away after weeks of going in and out of hospital, although it wasn't a huge shock it was still very sad.
I hope you all have a great week ahead!
