Welcome to my little corner of the internet taking part in the Grow Your Blog event hosted by Vicki at Two Bags Full
My name is Emma, I am 27 years old and I live in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. I live with my ever suffering partner David, and our fur baby Sheldon. We also have another another fur baby who goes by the name of Charlie, however he is quite the adventurer and so his visits home are dictated only by his stomach!
This blog was created a little under two years ago, when I decided I was fed up on an evening and weekend of just sitting in front of the TV or computer and I wanted to do something more productive with my time. So, I revisited the glorious world of craft, cross stitch in particular with a little bit of (basic!) knitting thrown in for good measure!
I think I get my crafty side from my Nana, however she is a far better knitter than I will ever be, however she does try her best with me!
Here are a few of my favourite completed pieces, however you can find them all under the tab at the top of the page "completed stitches"
I am a firm believer in "varitety is the spice of life!" so I would say I don't have a style or favourite designer, I do what feels right at the time, which may explain my ever expanding W.I.P pile!!
My dear readers also have a suffer with some ramblings from me sometimes, anything from holiday photos, weight loss, my adventure in to starting running with a few giveaways thrown in for good measure too! Oh and cat photos. Everyone needs a random cat photo from time to time!
I am due a giveaway soon, to celebrate me reaching 200 followers, so look out for that soon too!
I also have a second blog, which is for my reading. This is a new project I am working on which you can find here.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog and I would love to hear from you in the comments below! Thank you for taking the time to visit!

Enjoyed visiting you from GYB party. Taking awhile to get by and see everyone. I am with BUTTERFLY TALES and hope that you will stop by and say hello. Will join in your group and enjoy hearing your tales from the UK!
ReplyDeleteWandering over from the GYB party, looking forward to watching your stitching!
ReplyDeleteI cross-stitched for many, many years, but now crochet has taken over as it is easier to throw in a purse and carry along wherever I may go. Now when I cross-stitch, it's mostly small projects, and I might even combine the two. I tried knitting but just could not get the hang of it at all. It will definitely take a while to get through all the participants in the party. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteHi Emma from a new follower, fellow stitcher and most importantly, a kitty mom! We have one very spoiled kitty named Clarice and she adds so much joy to our lives.
