Well the snow has now started to fall, only lightly at the moment but it is there, looking like a dusting of icing sugar everywhere. According to the weather it is going to snow from now until tomorrow night - I can only dream of waking up tomorrow morning to find so much I can't get to work... ;) hehehe.
I cannot complain really, I have a short week at work as I have booked a days holiday on Friday, I have no plans really so I am hoping I can sit and stitch to my hearts content - you have to treat yourself every now and again right?
Hope everyone has a great week!
Emma xo
Happy stitching dear x
ReplyDeleteYou too Cucki, have a great week :) xx
DeleteI think you have done a good progress with both of the stitchings..
ReplyDeleteI do personally feel like
"a very slow sticther too " and some of my friends stitch so fast that I have only started the pattern when they a already doing the finishing :D
At least it isn't just me! xx
DeleteIt's a good work! :) Go, go! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Filipa :)
DeleteEvery stitch counts and every stitch is one step nearer to completion - keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, I will get there eventually - even if it will take me a few years! lol
DeleteNice stitching. The turtle still wins the race right?!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharine, yes, I am determined to stick with these I know when I do get them finished it will all be worth it :)
DeleteEvery stitch is important. I know it would be great seeing the result of our efforts immediately and I often feel like a turtle. But this is cross stitch, with all its joy and pain!
ReplyDeleteBye, dearie.
Fiore
How right you are Fiore :) Happy Stitching my dear xx
DeleteIt doesn't matter how long it takes you, you'll get there in the end! :) Slowly but surely. Important is to have fun, well done for your progress so far, Mii x
ReplyDeleteThanks Mii, you are right!
DeleteI often feel like I am super slow stitcher as well. But I think you have to keep in mind that maybe other people have more time to stitch than you do. Be kind to yourself, you are making great progress and don't compare how you are doing to others we all have different lives and different amounts of time. :) (I hope that doesn't sound preachy. I just always feel like that myself and it often ends up making me sad and irritated that I'm not as fast as others)
ReplyDeleteYou are right, I will get there in the end and it will be worth it! Every stitch counts! I must remember that more often...
Deleteslowly but surely =)
ReplyDeletethe most important thing is that you enjoy what you're stitching
happy stitching =)
xxx
Very true Valma :) Happy Stitching to you too my dear xxx
Deletei'm really slow stitcher too...but i enjoy doing it at my own rhythm...
ReplyDeleteEnjoying every little stitch.
Keep on doing it, enjoy your time ;)
I definitely will :) Enjoy your stitching too :) x
DeleteI think it doesn't matter if you are slow or fast as long as you are enjoying yourself and you love seeing your pieces come to live! Some projects just take longer than others...like HAEDs!
ReplyDeleteHAEDs...I have enough to last me a life time yet I still buy more??? lol. I will get there one day :)
Deleteprogress is progress don't worry about other stitchers!!!
ReplyDeleteWell done on your HAED! I really dont know how you can 'park' your thread. I get all confused and mixed up as to what thread is what so just do one coloir at a time ... so well done to you!! Enjoy xx
ReplyDeleteYour blog has just been loaded in for my Grow Your Blog party - looking forward to your special post at the party. I hope you make lots of new friends.
