Seasons Greetings!

Hello my lovelies!!!!

I am here again! I hope you are all well?

I am slowly making my way through the 700+ posts I need to read - my, you have all been so busy! I could always start from a fresh but so many of you are stiching such gorgeous projects at the moment I just don't want to miss anything!

I may take some time on Sunday to sit down and read some more, as I'm sure you can appreciate with that many to read it will be impossible for me to comment on every single one.

So what is going on with me since my last post? I can't believe it was so long ago since I posted!

Well we are in our new home, and (mostly) unpacked. I feel very settled here I have to say, which is such a nice feeling, now I know we made the right choice to move all this distance and start our new life :)

The job is going well, a lot of new things to learn but I am so busy everyday that the working week is just flying by, which I always think is a good thing - I would much rather be busy all day than not have enough work to do.

It was my first pay day too today - very tempted to treat myself to a little something to celebrate ;)

I have to say though it doesn't quite feel like Christmas to me this year. I think it could be because we are having a very low key affair this year with very few gifts and I am not cooking a Christmas or Boxing day dinner. Christmas day we are heading to David's Aunties and Boxing day we are doing nothing!

But I must remember soon after that it is my birthday and friends are coming up from Yorkshire to stay with us for a couple of days, so I am looking forward to that I must say :)

Sadly no stitching has been going on. If I'm not working I have been unpacking boxes or we have had some job or other to do.

Hey ho, in the new year things will settle and perhaps I can get back in to having some stitching time in the evenings.

If I have missed anything important please leave a comment to let me know!

I hope you are all well and are ejoying the festive period, have you all picked out your projects for 2015 yet??

Emma xx

  1. Moving can really make things feel off kilter. We moved in August, and I still don't feel quite right, even though the house is lovely and we are all happy.

I hope you have a peaceful and joyful Christmas!

  2. Glad to know that you have settled happily :) I know how much unpacking work takes time. We moved in June and though I unpacked everything still I have to keep many things at proper places so reorganising has become an ongoing process for me :)

  4. Moving is horrible. I'm sure everyone understands. It's a busy busy time of year. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and get settled in sooner and back to your stitching.
