Review - YOTA 2014

Today we look at the YOTA Sal I joined this year hosted by the lovely Pull The Other Thread.

This was my second year taking part and I'm afraid to say this year was just as unsuccessful as last year LOL

My project for this was Twilight Magic by HAED which featured in the World of Cross Stitching magazine a couple of year ago.

This was my progress in January of this year...

And here is my progress in March, which sadly was the last time I touched it.

Hmm...not exactly the progress I was hoping for, but even so I know this is more than I would have done otherwise on this project.

This is one SAL I will be taking part in again next year, although at the moment I am not sure which project will be my focus...I guess we will find out on check in day next month! :D

If you want to find out more about YOTA then follow this link and maybe sign up too?! :D

  1. Hi! Some progress is better than none! Well done. I love this one and was dragging the two magazines it was featured from one shelf to another, to a box 'of the musts' projects ... still haven't started. Hope you will get more done soon.

  3. It's looking fantastic and you made great progress even if it wasn't as much as you hope. I look forward to seeing you project for next year.

  4. Perhaps this will make you feel better .... this fall I finished a project that took me a decade to complete. At first I was ashamed to admit that but now I say it with a sense of accomplishment and humour. :D So carry on and you will finish it - who needs deadlines.
