Hello...is Anyone Still Out There?

I just wanted to post a quick update, as I haven't been around for ages other than my quick post from Rome.

I am doing ok, I am off work today as I had another episode with my gallbladder, but there is some progress on that front. After going to see a specialist last week it has been decided I will have it removed by surgery. I'm happy with this as it means once its gone there is no risk of the pain again. So now I just have to wait for my surgery date, fingers crossed I hear soon.

I haven't done a bit of stitching, you would think with this time off I would have got loads done, but no, it has taken all my energy and drive to do hardly anything really, although the itch to stitch has made an appearance this past week so I may need to scratch it soon... ;)

I hope you are all doing well and getting lots of happy dance finishes, I haven't read any blogs for ages, I do miss them and keeping up with how you are all doing, I just checked my bloglovin' account and I have over 1000 posts waiting for me! I think I may just have to admit defeat with that and start from fresh.

Fingers crossed I will have a stitching post for you some time soon.

Emma xo

Good to hear that you gonna solve your problem with surgery. People are always afraid of it but it will solve a problem that you are having, no pain no more afterwards :D I had esophagitis and a huge hernia I made a surgery last year and I must say that I am a new person now :D

I wish you all of the best there is! Give us great news about the surgery next time.

  9. I got mine out a few years ago. I only had a little bit of pain in my stomach muscles when standing up for a few days after but nothing worth really complaining about. Heck I get the same pain if I do too much work in the yard haha. Good luck with your surgery. Hope you will be up and running quickly.

I would just mark as read and start fresh. I did a little bit ago so I could actually start reading my fav blogs again. I also deleted a few that I just didn't enjoy reading any more.

  10. Hope you are feeling better really soon. Illness can really zap your strength, and take away your "get up and go". be well soon, and definitely start from scratch. We are all still out here!
