#44 Only 23 days...

...until December 1st! Which means I can put my Christmas decorations up with the other half complaining!

I have a finish and a half to share tonight.

First up was the skiing Polar Bear I finished a while ago,I finally got round to adding some backing fabric and turned it in to a little ornament for the tree. I wasn't sure if it would be too large or not, but luckily it turned out a perfect size.

The finish is less than perfect, finishing has never been my strong point. But I'm happy enough. Forgive the bad lighting, Winter time means I don't see daylight during the week!

Secondly I finished my gingerbread man...and about 20 minutes later accidently butchered him with my scissors...nooo! Much more and he would have lost his head! So, I had to improvise. I decided to back him on the some "crazy patchwork" as I call it, using all my festive looking fabric and felt scraps.

Now I am stuck, I don't really know what to do with him. I fear he may go in to the cupboard until further notice until I get a bright idea.

Oh well.

Now to decide what to work on next...

Have a great week everyone - hopefully I will have more progress on one of my projects to share at the weekend.

  3. They are cute. The bear and the guy, too.:)
Perhaps you could put your honey man on a fabric,I do not really how it is called in English, which they use for sleeves, you should iron it on the fabric and it makes it hard.or you could glue it in cardboard?:)I made a bookmark like that from a cross stitched horse, because I did not have PC...
