2016 Goals

Happy New Year!

Thank you everyone for your Birthday wishes. I had a nice day, me and David went in to Glasgow and I spent some of my birthday money, along with lunch out with a Birthday Cocktail (of course!)

During the evening we didn't do much and I was in bed for ten past 12 haha. Today has been much of the same. I have spruced up my blog for the new year getting rid of the tabs and links which are no longer needed and added some new ones for this year.

My goals this year are fairly simple;

  • Stitch More! After last years dismal effort this should be fairly easy to do. I always start out well at the beginning of the year but by Summer it just dwindles, so ideally I would like that to not happen this year.
  • Blog More! Again, this should be pretty easy. I blogged a pitiful 32 times last year, there were many different reasons for it but I would like to improve on that this year. I am going to aim for at least once a week.
  • Read More! I have loads of books to read, so it would be nice to get some of them read!
  • Exercise More! I want to be heading to the gym 3 or 4 times a week.
I know there will be times when some of the above won't happen. I have to acknowledge the fact June and the first half of July will be a write off pretty much due to the wedding and honeymoon, but I think I can just about cope with that! ;)

2016 promises to be a big year for me and I am excited for what the next 12 months have in store!

Good Christmas Everyone?

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas? As usual I ate and drank too much but had a lovely time with family. It was fairly uneventful and quiet but that is how I like it :)

No crafty presents this year, my Fiancé is still living by the rule I need to finish / start the projects I already have first!

But, he did still spoil me :) A new charm for my Pandora, an Urban Decay eye palette, Lush smellies, a woolly hat along with all the gifts friends and family got me! I am very thankful and lucky to have such thoughtful people in my life.

I did however get one crafty parcel in the mail on Christmas Eve. Crafty Kitten have started up a monthly Mystery Box service which contains an exclusive dyed fabric along with some other bits each month. December was the first box which had the theme of Christmas.

I was so pleased! I loved the fabric and the threads and beads will certainly come in handy!

Next year the theme is birthstones, so January will be Garnet. I have already placed my order :P

Well tomorrow is New Years Eve, which also happens to be my Birthday. I don't have any big plans for the day, my birthday does tend to get overlooked and forgotten about so I think I may just relax and perhaps pick up some stitching and please myself!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and I hope you enjoy your New Year Celebrations whatever you may be doing :)
