Tribal Orca 26-01-2015

Good evening!

I hope you are all safe and well, especially my friends over in America, looks like some of you are in for some crazy snow storms over the next day or so! One of my old school friends is currently in New York and has been told she has a to stay at least an extra day as her flight home is cancelled - as you can imagine she is devastated having to have a longer holiday...!

So, are you all getting bored of Tribal Orca yet? I hope not as it's all I have been working on again!

Here is was last time

And here it is now!

Yep, my bedroom light is definitely better for taking photos!

All the white is now complete, just some more black swirls and other random shapes to fill in, its starting to feel like this project is reaching the home straight now :)

Thank you all for your nice comments while I have been working on this, they really do help to encourage me to keep on going,

Until next time!

Tribal Orca 24-01-2015

Good evening!

I hope you are all having a pleasant weekend? Not much going on here, it was rather cold today so I have spent most of the day in my PJs watching The Good Wife and stitching away!

My love of Tribal Orca is still in full swing, and if I carry on at this rate it could end up as my first finish of the year. Even though I know I have my piece for the Small Sal I am taking part in to finish for next week I am just enjoying this too much at the moment :)

So here is how it looked the last time you saw it...

And here it is as of this evening! The colours of the fabric look a little washed out here, I guess my bedroom light is better for taking photos than my Living Room light!

Tomorrow will be another stitching day I think, we have no plans. The payday after Christmas always seems the longest!

But it is Burns night tomorrow, and as it is my first one in Scotland I will make sure I am wearing at least a little tartan... :)

Until next time
