IHSW - January 2015

Hello!

I am a little late with this check in but after a day sat on the computer at work I just needed to relax a little before I updated tonight. I hope you are all doing ok and Monday has been kind to you.

I am glad to say I did manage to do some stitching this weekend for IHSW, although it was more just a couple of hours rather than the whole weekend but progress was made :)

Here is how Tribal Orca was looking before the weekend;

Before...
And here is it now, it is really starting to take shape and I am still very much enjoying this project so I am going to continue on with it for now.

...Now!
I hope your weekend of hermitting and stitching was a good one!

I will be back tomorrow with the first TUSAL check in of the year.

Gifted Gorgeousness - January Post

Good evening!

I hope you are all well and keeping warm. It's very chilly here is Scotland at the moment with high winds and promises of train disruption again tomorrow so getting to work could be fun in the morning.

I just want to quickly say hello and welcome to my new followers. I hope you enjoy my blog :) If I don't already please leave me a comment with your blog address so I can have a look.

Now, today is the 15th (!!) So that means it is time for the first Gifted Gorgeousness check in post. If you don't know what I am talking about then click here to find out more.

First up is my Tribal Orca. This one is been stitched on fabric which was gifted to me and I just love it. I will definitely be buying some more! A lot of people have been admiring the fabric, and you know I love to enable so this is Deep Water by Colour Cascade Fabrics.

Next, and ok I will admit this one could be stretching it a bit in fitting under the SAL, but our wonderful host is also quite skilled in doing this too...

This is my start of my first Christmas ornament for the year. Which is a time for GIFTS...right? See what I did there ;) Not much to see yet!

Until next time!
