Small Sal - February Report

Happy Wednesday people!

I hope you are all well, as it is the last Wednesday of the month it is time for the Small Sal hosted by Stitching Lotus

This month I decided to work on something sweet for Valentines day :)

Sorry about the slight blur on the photo, it looked ok when I took it! This sweet little pattern was a freebie which you can find here.

Once I had completed the stitching I wasn't sure how I wanted to finish it. Eventually I decided on keeping it simple and made it in to a sweet little pillow, at the moment it is still sat next to my roses which my dear other half got me for Valentines Day, which are still doing well!

I'm really enjoying this SAL, if you would like to join in too for the rest of the year you still can, just make sure you go take a visit to our wonderful hosts blog to join in the fun!

Until next month!

Stitch From Stash 2014 - February

As we are coming towards the end of the month it is time for my monthly Stitch from Stash post, hosted by Mel at Epic Stitching!

So, did I manage to stick to the $25 budget? YES!

I spent nil, nada, zilch, nothing! Was it easy? No. There have been so many things that have caught my eye this month, and then when we got the email about the splurge weekend...well...I immediately went to drool at so many pretty things, but I restrained. I'm still not sure how I managed that but I did!

I did get some stash though, thanks to my dear other half for Valentines day I got three new Heaven and Earth charts (hooray for sales)

As for stitching I have been working away on some WIPs and completed a few smalls, one for the Small SAL, another for an exchange and also a couple of finishes on my Crazy January Challenge starts, oh, and a scarf too!

So, it's math time...

  • February Budget = $25.00
  • Spent in February = £0.00
  • Remainder for the Month = $25.00
  • Yearly Total Saved = $33.50
I shall update my sidebar tracker accordingly.

Not too bad I would say! Although I don't think I will do as well next month, some of those patterns I have been drooling over are shouting pretty loud!
