Small SAL and TUSAL - January Report

Good evening!

I hope you are all ok? I am super happy today as it was my first weigh in while on my health kick and I lost 6 1/2 lbs!! I was so suprised! :D

Now, I am a day late posting my Small SAL report hosted by Heather at Stitching Lotus, but with good reason, as I was at a charity fashion show yesterday.

Here is my first small of the year :)

Just a simple ornament for the tree finished with some red polka dot fabric at the back and a cream ribbon. The pattern is by Nancy at Victorian Motto, if memory serves this was a prize in one of her giveaways for Christmas 2012 where everyone who entered won! She is a very sweet lady :)

It was stitched on cream 14ct Aida with some red floss I had in my stash, got to save those pennies!

While I was writing this I happened to glance at my diary on my desk...it's TUSAL today too!

It looks like a lot, but most of those are from the free kits I was doing for the Crazy Jan Challenge, it appears the length they cut threads to always end up too short to use again for any other stitches! All the black on the top is from Mini The Black.

I think that's all folks, I will be back on Saturday with my YOTA report - I have made some progress, yippee!

Weekly Round Up!

I am slowly making my way through the list, I think it is going to take a while!

This week I carried on with Mini The Black, and yep you guessed it, MORE 310!!!!

Here is how you saw it last time

Here it is now, I have finally started to get to the point where other colours are needed! Hooray! But still a bit more 310 to go before I get to that :)

I don't have much else to share really, I went out on my first run of the year yesterday. It felt good to be out again, even if it was only a short run.

The health kick has started again too. Weigh in is Thursday so fingers crossed for that.

Think this coming week I will be pulling out my YOTA project as the second report is due next Saturday, can you believe that?! I've also got my Small Sal check in and TUSAL this week so I will be back in a couple of days!
