Well, as predicted no stitching got done this week. We spent some more time with my friend before she leaves tomorrow morning. She is so nervous and keeps getting herself all in a tizz wondering if she is doing the right thing, but she will do great, I just know it :)
Running is going well, the legs are aching but it is worth it, Team Panda have now raised a total of £285 already! Which is fantastic.
Weight loss is coming along nicely too, three weeks ago something just clicked when I stepped on the scales and I thought "that's it, no more messing lets get serious!" so far I have lost 10lbs and counting :)
There is no YOTA report this month as I have been bad bad bad and not touched my project. Oops! Perhaps I will have to put a bit extra time in to it this month to make it up to you, hehe.
As it is a bank holiday tomorrow here in England, perhaps I will get some stitching time in.
So last night, there I was at my friends house, with good food and good wine, and some time in the night, perhaps foolishly I agreed to sign myself up to Race For Life.
Race for Life is a 5k (3.1 miles!) run which takes place different places all over the UK to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Cancer is something which affects us all, almost every knows someone who has some fight against cancer, and agreeing to take part is my little way to help in the fight against Cancer.
Now, I don't want to just ask you to sponsor me, I feel as people who have never met before and only talk to one another via comments and emails that is a little cheeky of me (but hey, if you don't ask you don't get, right?) so I'll make a deal with you...
Especially for my bloggy friends, if you are so kind to sponsor me (any amount - even if it just 50p, it all adds up!) be sure to then leave a comment on this post. Everyone of my bloggy friends who sponsors me will be entered in to a draw, and one lucky winner will receive a £20 gift voucher to spend on stitchy goodies!
You have plenty of time, the run isn't until 21st July so I will keep this open until a couple of days after.
