#30 Visit From the RAK Fairy

Yay! First I want to say thank you so much for all your kind comments on my blog - its lovely to read what everyone thinks! :D

Also, to my American friends sorry to give you envy over Downton Abbey but rest assured you will LOVE it when it arrives on your shores!

Now, to the point of this post - I got another visit from the RAK (Random Act of Kindness) Fairy :D It was late on Monday night just as I was getting ready for bed when "beep beep" my phone went off and informed me I had a new email from Heaven and Earth.

"Oooooh" I thought so I turned my computer back on to check and sure enough this gorgeous chart was sat waiting for me from a lady who I have never even spoken to before, I think its amazing how out of all the people in the world little old me gets chosen :D hehe!

Mini Alice and Snow White

I hope to do some RAK'ing of my own after payday.

In other news, started work on another scarf (a wine red this time) I did a bit more work on Twilight Magic, not enough for you to notice any difference so I will save photos until the weekend.

Having said that, I am going to see a band on Friday night (Biffy Clyro, in case you are curious) and on Saturday me and Sheldon have a trip planned to the vets for his first injections. So not much stitching will get done probably.

Until next time my lovelies!

#29 IHKW more like...

Another weekend has gone by in a blur but I must admit I am happy as I have not one, but two finishes this weekend!

Ok I admit, I did no stitching but focused on my knitting instead. With the colder/darker mornings drawing in already I have gone a little scarf crazy and finished two this weekend!

As someone who isn't exactly a good knitter (I didn't even know how to cast off until yesterday) I am quite proud of these. They knitted up so fast and I like the finished effect.

Close Up
New Downton Abbey starts this evening so I may just make a start on the red yarn I have in my stash - sounds like a plan!

Look forward to seeing everyone elses IHSW, which hopefully will be more stitch and not knit, and maybe get my bug back!
