Turkey Sandwich Anyone...?

Seasons Greeting to you all!

I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday even if you don't celebrate Christmas :)

We spent the morning at home opening our presents.

Sheldon seemed to like his very much...

And I even got a couple of stocking fillers that were mini cross stitch kits from my mother in law to be :)

Sadly no more crafty related things this year. David informed me I have far too much that needs stitching so he refused to buy me any more. What a scrooge!

In the afternoon we had dinner with David's family, it was nice not to have to cook.

Look what his Mum made!

After dinner we came home got in to our pyjamas and watched the Christmas special of Downton Abbey. I won't spoil it for our overseas friends but awww it was so sweet! :)

Today is Boxing day here in England. For me and David it means a day spent in our pyjamas eating all the left over food we have!

Some point this weekend we plan to go see the new Hobbit movie as an early Birthday present for me, can't believe I will be 28 next Wednesday!

  1. Have a restful day, sure you will enjoy the Hobbit and it was nice to have a Christmas Downton that included Christmas. How you have a year of successful stitching so you can have more kits as gifts for next year from Mr E.S.

  5. I love the gingerbread sleigh! I must admit that Downton Abbey has sort of fallen off my radar lately. It seems to have lost its sparkle to me. We saw The Hobbit yesterday for my DS2's birthday - he loved it! And at least your MIL to be came through on the cross stitching front.

Spending the day 'at' Downton in your pj's sounds very enticing to me!

  10. LOL... I love this: I just turned 28 earlier this month, saw the last Hobbit movie last week, and sat down last night to watch the Downton Abbey special. Loved it! I can't believe we have to wait nearly a year for the next season! :(
